So, I decided to start sharing some of what I do when I work out or some of the things that I use to work out in case you guys are interested. The Gym Boss Timer is basically what it says it is, a timer, but it is not your ordinary timer. This timer comes with a special feature so that you can do High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT).
With this training you basically do a round (2 minutes for example) of exercise (push ups, jumping jacks, kick backs) or running where you push yourself to the max and then a round of the same exercise at a slower pace or rest (for 1 minute for example). It is a great way to get your heart rate going and therefore a great way to lose weight!
The best thing about HIIT is that it is a cardiovascular exercise that you do for a short period of time. So if you are doing the above rounds of 2 minutes intense and 1 minute rest, you can do this cycle for 20 minutes. In other words in a shorter period of time compared to running for say 40 minutes you are burning as much calories or more, even long after the work out!
